Andrew has had a lifelong association with, and love of aviation, growing up with a BOAC (later BA) father, who flew the Bristol Britannia, Super VC10, and Concorde.
He holds a Transport Canada Private Pilot's Licence and Advanced Ops Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA/drone) pilot certification with a Flight Reviewer rating. He is also an accredited examiner for the ISED Canada aeronautical radio certificate (ROC-A).
Education has always been a passion, as have been photography and videography; these now come together in his aerial work and training with RPAs (drones).
His priority is to ensure that new RPA pilots learn to operate their aircraft safely and professionally in this ever-expanding area of the modern aviation world.
He is delighted to be affiliated with RPAS-OTC.
